Panel dyskusyjny Wokół morza. Sztuka – Nauka – Kobieta towarzyszy wystawie W głębi: Żyjące morza, żyjące ciała i wystawie Kobiecy obraz morza zorganizowanej w Sopocie we współpracy z brytyjskimi kuratorami, Instytutem Oceanologii w Sopocie, Uniwersytetem Gdańskim oraz Marszem Kobiet Sopockich. Wydarzenie skupi się na praktykach artystycznych i współpracy z naukowcami uczestników wystawy, a także na ostatnich ważnych projektach, takich jak Sezon Polsko-Brytyjski, Nagroda Sztuki Społecznej i inne projekty Instytutu Sztuki i Innowacji (IFAI) w Berlinie, a także na ubiegłorocznej prezydencji Polski w Unii Europejskiej.
Przedstawiciele instytucji kultury z Polski i zagranicy zaprezentują swoje najważniejsze projekty, stanowiąc punkt wyjścia do dyskusji o tym, jakie dalsze plany, strategie i programy warto realizować.

The discussion panel Around the Sea. Art – Science – Woman accompanies the exhibitions Down deep: Living Seas, Living Bodies and The Female Image of the Sea, organized in Sopot in collaboration with British curators, the Institute of Oceanology in Sopot, the University of Gdańsk, and the Sopot Women’s March. The event will focus on the artistic practices and collaborations with scientists developed by the exhibiting artists, as well as on recent major projects such as the UK/Poland Season, the Social Art Award, and other initiatives of the Institute for Art and Innovation (IFAI) in Berlin, as well as on Poland’s recent Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Representatives of cultural institutions from Poland and abroad will present their key projects as a starting point for discussion on future plans, strategies, and programmes worth pursuing.
